It's alright. Under DOS, nothing will destroy it. Quake's no big deal (the achilles heel of the cyrix that gets brought up as The Deal Breaker). PowerVR cards (i.e. NEC PC 3DEngine) aren't good with it either for freeze/performance reasons, but in a pure dos context that's just only Tomb Raider and that runs fine there.
Yeah, quake has a tweak that takes advantage of pentium.
Cyrix got a bad wrap back in the day they are really good cpus actually.
I’d take a cyrix 200 over a pentium 100. Sure. Should be faster at almost everything.

i'm hoping this Cyrix is a MII-266 because that's the 200MHz-clocked part (well close - 207MHz)

Cyrix can disable cache like pentium?

I would imagine so if the bios has the option for it.

Oh it depend on bios motherboard right?
CPU Not relevant
I couldn’t swear to it. But I think if the bios has the option, it should work
