I set up my 486dx2 machine with asus sis471 vlb motherboard, vlb graphic card, a soundblaster pro (A220 i7 D1), and a roland SCC-1 midi card (with def setting port 330, irq2) .
When i try with Doom, it sounds beautiful midi card, and sb pro working together,
I think i try the secret of the monkey island too, but this game need mt-32 com mode.
I read SCC-1's manual it can change to mt32 comp mode with SCMODE MT32 command (a downloaded scc-1 support from vogons) or playmid MT32EMUL.MID command.
But this not work. The chkscc command doesn't work either, it says : other card uses dataport adress.
Its strange, the why Doom can use it.
How can i fix it?
With my other pc, a pentium s5, i haven't had problem, there chkscc and paymid commands bot work
