Yes. 28MB addressable precious. 30-pin 16MB sticks were painful expensive in the mid 90s.

~10MB/s ram speed makes all that ram useless 🙁 There is nothing you would want to experience on 386 that requires more than 8MB ram. Similarly 12-16MB for 486 and 32MB on Pentium 1/mmx.

3.3V might not be such a big issue, depends on how strong Chipset/CPU drive the bus. There is one Amiga mod https://hackaday.com/2021/01/08/the-amiga-100 … 35-years-later/ using AS6C6416 8MB 3.3V SRAM chip ($25) simplifying whole thing tremendously, and since Amiga chips are anemic they barely reach 3V high logic levels.

If I recall correctly there are a few 386 mobos that support up to 128mb of ram?
Which is wild, as many 486 mobos maxed out at 32mb some 486 went to 128 as well.
The Chips & Tech PEAK DM / 82c351 chipset supports 128MB but that's because it has 8 RAS lines (8 banks support).
I think it's to do with MA11 (on RAM), if that's connected to the chipset and read
