I aquired one of these zip drives:
https://applerescueofdenver.com/products-page … -internal-scsi/
any pointers on the orientation of the power connector (floppy connector)?
There are no indicators on the drive
Thx in advance!

it's a standard floppy power connector. There should only be one way to fit the plug on.

lemme check. red (+5v) on the outside, then black, black again, and yellow (+12v)

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

Thank you, that worked. The plug could be put on either way, so i was unsure.

Weird, makes me think the plastic lip that is normally present has broken off, or maybe the whole plastic part of the connector has detached and only the pins are left.
