i want graphic card that have power as voodoo1 or little lower
i have socket7 cyrix m2 ram 64mb
and want to play WingCommander 3-4 - descent 2 - Quake 1
any vga card recommend ?
right now im looking into S3 virge dx 4mb
Wing Commander 3 and 4 won't take advantage of 3D acceleration at all, so a Voodoo or other 3D accelerator won't help you play those two games any faster. A S3 Virge DX would work great for software rendering for the Wing Commanders and Descent 2. If you want 3D acceleration in Quake 1, something with an actual OpenGL ICD would be helpful. A Nvidia TNT2 M64 card of some kind should be pretty affordable and readily available.

u mean 16mb or 32mb version?

For those games, either memory capacity would be more than enough. Grab a 32 MB one if you can.

hey thx a lot i just bought s3 virge dx 4mb becuse i want to play wingcommander and most of dos game for quake i think i'll move to my newer pc should be fine
