486 ELSA/VLB/ISA/XT motherboard, needs help to identify. Looked everywhere

Please can someone help me identify this board I recently bought.

I've tried all the usual websites and the Elsa database site but I don't get anywhere near.

The odd thing is that the 2 VL slots are at 1 and 2 so the long cards hit the inside of the case. The keyboard chip is socketed so it stops any isa card from sitting flat in slots 5 and 6.

I would take a picture of the motherboard without any cards but it was badly damaged when I got it. it had to solder new lines and the ICS and slots had corrosion which needed to be removed, and now it's working I don't want to touch it again.

There is not text on the underside

I will had more text via my pc once I post this from my mobile...

as you see the only text on the upper side is HINT ELSA REV D. I checked with the BIOS ID, ZZ1379 this came back with a company called 'WIN Corporation' but still no joy in finding out more.

the layout is so:

SLOT1 VLB/ISA
SLOT2 VLB/ISA
SLOT3 EISA
SLOT4 EISA
SLOT5 EISA
SLOT6 ISA
SLOT7 XT
SLOT8 XT

the CHIPSET is the Caesar 001/002 and a samsung chip.

I would be really happy if someone could help me. I want to install a PNP sound blaster but of course it kicks up a fuss as its an EISA motherboard, therefore im looking for a the right cfg file.

thanks, this is probably the closest i've seen until now. I will look for the ELSA config for it and try. Of course there are a lot of differences in the layout and no space for the second CPU. It still would be interesting to know the exact manufacture etc.

Your mobo is ancient hardware, and there may not have been many made. My 486 runs a Biostar mb-1433/50UCV-E pcb rev: 3 board. It (and its revisions) were popular boards in the early 1990s, but I cannot find any info on the specific board version.

Partial BIOS string (ZZ1379) says it's an EDOM/WinTech board, but https://theretroweb.com/ doesn't list a HINT chipset board from them.

This might be worth a try...unzip the attached file in a directory and then run 'cfg.exe' from there
