I cant hear almost any diference from my SB16 or SBpro II and the awe64, for me all same more or less same, but with reverb and chorus, i cant go back to sbpro or 16 or any other card, is too much difference in a good way. The 3D effect in the cmi is nice, but cant compare,is just a 3d regular effect too all sounds, not like in awe is possible to addapt per app
