So I finally found a version of this that runs perfectly on my Win10 PC, and while I can select widescreen resolutions in the option the cockpit views are stretched.

Is there any way to fix this or run the game windowed?

It would be frustrating to finally find a version of this I can run and not be able to enjoy it properly

Unfortunately no.

If there was, https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Jane%27s_USAF would have the info.

It's specifically stated: Menus are 800x600, but the simulation is widescreen. Supports all resolutions listed in Windows. Cockpit is stretched.
The issue has been around since at least 2011

However if you hit F2, and go to 3D cockpit mode, it will be perfectly normal.

Well i found one fix, setting my monitor to 4:3 when i want to play USAF
