I've managed to get an older Packard Bell multimedia era 4x4 desktop, since then, and think it's likely the R/C only worked with these Win95 machines, so anxious to see if I can get it working, as had no luck on the Club win98 machine. It may also have something to do with the Tattoo process, as I seem to remember there being options to pre-select alternative hardware options like FM Radio, and I'm sure the Remote Control.
I've a way to go before I get this machine all working, so it would be helpful to accumulate as much relevant information and documentation as I can before I get started, including anything relating to the remote control, so a .PDF would be very helpful.
