Hi everyone!

Recently I started working on my very first PC. I'm looking forward to do some upgrades on it. Currently has:
- Redfox AGP-ALI Puppy AT Motherboard.
- AMD K-6 II 500 Mhz CPU.
- 96 MB SDRAM.
- Trident 3D Image 9850 4 MB GPU.
- 20 HDD Maxtor HDD.

I managed to get a fully working Diamond Stealth ATI Radeon 9250 PCI with 256 MB. The problem is when I put it in any of the available PCI slots nothing happens. The screen stays black, no beeps or alerts. However the small fan in the GPU works. That Radeon 9250 is working fine, as I tested it on another PC without issues. I don't know if that GPU is too much "recent" for my setup.

I also have the issue no HDD over 32 GB is recognized. Currently has the 2A5KKF9A BIOS.

Is there a way to get that GPU to work on my setup or should I look for another option? If that's the case, which AGP 2X GPU would you recommend? I'm looking to play some old school games, as some DOS games too.

Looking at the board on The Retro Web, those look like 5V only PCI slots. There's a chance that your ATI 9250 is a more modern 3.3V card and 5V intolerant.

Hi Many!
Thanks for your response. You're right, the 9250 works on 3.3V. The thing is, that MoBo has 32-bit PCI slots, which apparently accept both 3.3V and 5V, but seems here's not the case. In that case I might need to look for another options. Any you would recommend?
