Namely, is there one? I want it to play at least both MIDI and MP3 files. I also prefer customizability. Videos would be nice but aren't necessary.

I have that. I didn't realize it would work on Win98SE. Thank you.

Winamp 2.95 is the last version of the "classic" Winamp everyone remembers and loved
Winamp 3 still supports Win98 but was a complete and unpopular redesign.

Winamp 2.x works even with Windows 95
Winamp 1.x works even with Windows 3.1 + Win32s

I am aroused about any X86 motherboard that has full functional ISA slot. I think i have problem. Not really into that original (Turbo) XT,286,386 and CGA/EGA stuff. So just a DOS nut.
PS. If I upload RAR, it is a 16-bit DOS RAR Version 2.50.

Really?
Where exactly can I find that 3.1-compatible Winamp?

I downloaded an earlier version of WinAmp yesterday but have yet to try it, as my Win98SE tower is at my mother's house. I remember downloading a lot of skins for it years ago but recently stopped fiddling with them.

And then Winamp 5 is 3+2 so you can pretend it's still good old Winamp 2 (but won't run on 98, I think)
