1. Open the window you want to put in alphabetical order.
2. From the menu at the top of the screen choose 'Window' and select 'Select Contents'.
3. From the menu at the top of the screen choose 'Window' and choose 'Clean up by' > 'Name'.
4. From the menu at the top of the screen choose ' Snapshot' > 'Window'.
5. From the menu at the top of the screen choose 'Snapshot' > 'All'.

Do this without deselecting or making any extra clicks and everything in the drawer will be saved in alphabetical order as well as window size and placement on the desktop. I'm not sure if this is what you are asking though because your title mentions the Gotek drive which I don't see how this would apply.

No i meant that its out of order when i load it up into flash floppy on my amiga. i have tried putting the usb into a windows computer and its all in order so not sure why this has happened was fine last time i used it.
i have not used my amiga in ages but this is just a slight annoyance

I've never used this firmware (or for that matter ever seen a Gotek IRL in any form), but this seems to be a case of it listing stuff in filesystem order, which is much easier on a CPU and/or RAM challenged platform as the microcontrollers used on Goteks - in fact, even modern Windows works like that internally, it's file mangers and the like which deliberately do extra work to sort by default!

Luckily for you it's a problem as old as cheap & nasty MP3 players or NES flashcards, so there are many programs to help with that, like http://anerty.net/software/file/DriveSort/ or https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/95721/FA … -Files-Table-i/ 😀
