I am trying to understand and use dosbox360. It works but is too slow for enjoyable gameplay. I cant find any information from the group that ported it so I was hoping to get some more information here on things like changing the configuration file on a ported system. People like ModdedWarfare have had it working fine on their systems and I just don’t inderstand what Im doing wrong. The processor is a tri core, 3Gh core so it should be plenty powerful.

You'll need to ask the devs of that port. it's highly doubtful it was/is "working fine" on a XBOX 360 unless their definition of "fine" was acceptable gameplay on real mode games.

What is real mode? I’ve never heard of that before. Is it in the manual? Maybe I haven’t gotten to that section yet. I would ask questions of the original team, but their sites are down and the ones that are left are not monitored anymore.

Multiple cores means nothing and it's a PowerPC CPU. DOSBox by default has no dynamic core for PowerPC and most likely whoever made the xbox360 port didn't include the patch that adds it. So it will only have the interpreter core which is too slow for anything but very basic games, certainly not win95-type stuff that most clickbait videos will claim to have running.

So should I look into patching it to work on my console?
