Asus TUSL2-C - Why do these motherboards hate me?

This is my second TUSL2-C that does not work properly. I had one for a long time that just straight up did not work with any expansion cards I put in it and now this one that came in today does NOT post with any Tualatin processors I have.

These damn boards hate me. 🤣

This one has the latest beta bios from Asus (1014.001) and works just fine with any Coppermine P3 and Celeron processors I put in it but just won't post with any Tualatin P3 or Celerons I have which DO work in the Gigabyte and MSI boards I have.

I almost want to buy another on ebay... why do I do this to myself?

Have you checked correct settings of jumpers and/or dip switches on the board?

Yes indeed!

It's currently set to jumperfree mode and works fine that way or manually with Coppermine processors.
