I'm running into a very strange issue I have never seen before, and I've installed XP probably a hundred times. Using a known-good XP Pro SP3 install CD, everything went fine as far as the actual installation process but now that I have it running I can't get into Device Manager to see what additional devices I need drivers for.

Please see the picture I attached of what I see when I attempt to view but its something referencing Internet Explorer 'not being able to link to the web page I requested'.

Any ideas here on what might be causing this? It's running on a small ITX board with a Via chipset.

Thanks!

Hi FourDown, try this in the run box type in> regsvr32 devmgr.dll
If you then get a "Action Cancelled error" type in> regsvr32 dmocx.dll
You may get an error message that the file is missing so you will extract a copy from Windows XP CD-ROM or the ServicePackFiles folder.
