I have been considering getting something like this for my MIDI sound modules:

The broken descriptions and messed up pictures make it very hard to tell if each "input" is taking in the actual Right and Left signals from a stereo device (using a TRS jack), and then mixing each input in separate Right and Left channels, and then outputting separate right and left channels. I am finding the same units on Amazon (for more than twice the price) and the reviews there seem to confirm that you do in fact get 6, 8 or 10 stereo inputs with separate channels, which then mix to two separate channels at the output.
Seems like a perfect solution for a midi stack. I think the only thing I would prefer is that the knobs were on the front so it could more easily go into a stack or rack.
I figured I'd post about them now since there seems to be a sale going on and they are a bit cheaper than normal. I will probably grab an 8 channel so that I never need anything larger. Yes. I'm sure that will work. 😊
Has anyone used one of these specific models before?
I am currently using one of these (branded as Amoon AM-228) and it works perfectly fine but you have to control each channel individually, which is irritating for stereo sources. It also requires twice as many connectors on the back since they are all mono, which leads to a pretty huge wiring mess even with just four devices connected to it.
