Heyyyyyyyyyyyo,
I want to get proper VESA working on my pc equipped with a Stealth 3 s540 savage 4. When I try to run S3 vbe 2.0 it doesn't work. Is there a fix for this? Am I not understanding something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I seem to recall running into the same issue when testing the S540 under DOS. No VESA drivers supported it.

Pentium 4 Multi-OS Build

486 DX-33 with 5 sound cards

That sucks. If anyone knows of any that would work, please let me know. Thanks

Isn't the Savage4 VBE 2.0? What isn't working?

You can add some modes with this TSR: S3VBEFIX - PC\MS-DOS TSR fix for S3 VESA 2.0 video BIOS

If you are having issues VESA not being detected with games that have univbe integrated go to: https://gona.mactar.hu/DOS_TESTS/ and search for Rob Muller
