Hi guys,
I just finalized my Win98 SE retro gaming rig build and got some Roland monitor speakers.
My motherboard has a built-in sound controller. The sound output is okay.
What will happen if I put PCI audio card, will it improve Win98 gaming sounds?
I’m mostly playing late 90’s, early 2000’s titles. I’m aware of the DOS games designed for an older ISA interface card. I might play some later DOS games that support PCI/built-in via Win 98 thought but this is not the purpose of this rig.
TIA.
