I just noted today is my 10th anniversary since registering here.
(I was in lurk mode a few years before that)
😀
I/O, I/O,
It's off to disk I go,
With a bit and a byte
And a read and a write,
I/O, I/O

Cool!
10 years seems like a lot but as my dad used to say , the alternative to getting older is worse. 😀
It should say you are an "oldbie" 🤣
Congratulations, your membership is now at the lowest point of its price curve. I suggest the rank of Massive pile of SFF P4 office machines that can't be given away 😜
I thought IBM was born with the world
Seriously, we seem to have a good group of people here
It'll fly before you'll know it.
Nice! Congrats!
I was a "lurker" for several years before I finally decided to sign up. I kept ending up here anytime I went down one of my retro rabbit-holes, so I figured it was about time I start using this amazing resource more actively.
I ditched all my social media a while back and decided to stick to old-school forums, though this is the only forum I'm relativity active on. Heck, I didn't even join Reddit until a few months ago, and I barely use it, and only for a couple very specific things.
🤣

Congratulations! Here's to another 10 years!
If you are squeamish, don't prod the beach rubble.
same i've been lurking here a while, since 2006/2007, i only got round to registering a few years back, should have done it years ago, i'd at least be an oldbie by now, its hard being a newbie when you're a couple of years off 40, i'll prob never be l33t, like most of my pc's i suffer from memory failure.🤣

Reddit has really gone downhill of late .. the Mods tend to be overly sensitive and many of the bigger reddit are run by the same group of mods.
I actually got sick of their mod team and just deleted my account there and now only use it anonymously with burner accounts.
