Hi I’ve got a 486 Pentium windows 98 machine with a cd rom drive and 3 and a half floppy drive in it but I wish to add a 5.25
Floppy drive to it as well.
Is it possible to do that and if so how would I go about doing that would I need a certain kind of cable to get them working properly

Those era boards are likely to already support two FDDs in BIOS, so you'll just need a three position floppy cable with an additional card edge connector for the 5¼ drive.

To cover all bases you can get a universal one like this - https://www.cablesonline.com/36unflopdriv.html
