So, back in the day benchmarks was like my go-to activity, and I certainly remember using a tool under Windows, that benchmarked the memory kind of like what speedsys does, i.e. testing read/write/copy in different data chunck sizes, so it was very clear when it went from L1 cache to L2, and to RAM (or L3 for that sake). I'm not sure, whether it made a graph or just output the various data as text and I just copied it to Excel for graphing.

I was so certain it was SANDRA, I used, but I can't find a version, that does memory testing that way.

Any input? Or an alternative tool?

I'd really like to play a little around with benching "flex memory" stuff (partially dual-channel)

If it's dual it's kind of cool ... 😎

Could it be Everest (now AIDA64)? In all fairness, I haven't seen what its memory benchmarks look like, but I feel like that was a common tool back then...

Maybe a version of Wintune or something from Chip magazine ?

P.S. It is a bit ironically comical to have forgotten about a memory testing program. 😉

Thanks for the inputs. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Everest or RightMark (though RightMark has some cool graphs). But WinTune may not be an all bad guess ... I'll look into that later on 😀

Any suggestions on something similar that also runs on modern OS'es (Win 10, 11)
