Nearly every Intel 430 board with Award BIOS should show the memory type in the "system configuration" box. Random YouTube link with that box. Note the "Bank 0 EDO DRAM" and "Bank 1 EDO DRAM" items in the bottom right part.

minor brain aneurysm 😐 Cant directly check ram type, but can check what mode is ram controller running in.
