Datasheets only have stuff like:

512K x 32Bit x 4 Banks

The card has 4 memory chips on board. Is that a 64mb card? Because GPU-Z says it's a 32MB card.

Thanks!

Ok I've figured it out, 64M is actually megabits. 64mbits/8 = 8mb per chip, 4 chips = 32mb xD

---------

For future reference (even for myself 🤣),

512K x 32Bit x 4 Banks

512 x 32 x 4 / 8 = 8mb per memory chip -- if card has 8 chips, it's 64mb, otherwise if it's 4 chips it's going to be 32mb, etc.

/8 is because 1 byte = 8 bit

yeah you got it. And the memory bus is 128bit, because the memory chips are all in parallel with each other, so 32bit x 4 chips = 128bit.

I/O, I/O,
It's off to disk I go,
With a bit and a byte
And a read and a write,
I/O, I/O
