Hi ! I just my first real midi card or module. Roland SC-55 Sound canvas. But music works only in Doom. Thanks for help.

I' m new about that midi stuff. I connected it to sb16 gameport.

My father made the cable with a din 5 connector and a gameport connector.

Doom sounds awesome and works with general midi or sound canvas choice.

But no music in Kq5, Kq6 and dragonsphere with general midi. Hocus Pocus froze without starting.

I tried diagnose.
I sb16 reinstalled driver.
I tried 330h and 300h

Ok i installed my Roland sc-55 to my 386 instead of my 486, this 386 has another sound blaster 16 model. This time everything works perfect. All games works. I tried several games: doom, kq6, warcraft 2, dragonsphere, monkey island..

I'm very happy. I will put this sound blaster 16 model in my 486.

I suppose the sound blaster 16 model in my 486 has a bug or problem that prevent it to works with most games except doom, i didnt find the solution or reason behind this 😀
