Ok. based on this YT video

Roland SCC-1 sounds exactly like MT32/LAPC-I. Is that correct? The reason I'm asking is that my SCC sounds with games completly different. More like Sound Canvas, but not like MT32.
You can hear it especially with Monkey Island, which does not sound like on the video above. Are there some settings, to sound like MT32?

So basically the scc1 is a sound canvas and mpu 401 on a card , its not a mt32
the sound canvas has a mt32 mode which should have similar samples but only for games that use the stock samples , if anything does custom patches its probably going to sound off.

As AppleSauce said, no, it's not correct. The "MT-32 emulation" is just a 1MB sample set (possibly from the U series) that as you say is more like Sound Canvas than anything. The SC-55/compatibles CANNOT do LA Synthesis, it can only play back samples with basic filtering. And it can only use the default 128 sounds - and in the default order. So for example, it will not work for ANY Sierra game which do not ever use the default sounds in the default order.

Other than to do for fun or experimentation, it's not worth doing or using and has limited practical purpose.
