The Mitsumi D509 can handle 1.2MB floppies.

i386 16 ⇒ i486 DX4 100 ⇒ Pentium MMX 200 ⇒ Athlon Pluto 700 ⇒ AthlonXP 1700+ ⇒ Opteron 165 ⇒ Dual Opteron 856

Since this is a Mitsumi D509V, the logical conclusion is that yes it can.

The seller has made a mistake, look at the label on the photos. It says 509 as PD2JK saw it first. Yeah it's a perfectly fine floppy drive as long as it works, because I don't see anywhere written that it does.

Can most 80s games run on a pentium 3?

No, this is why dosbox was made.

So I can probably run the games in dosbox on the pentium 3?

Is it possible to run dosbox fast enough on a pentium 3 to play old games from the early to mid 80s?

Probably, top end PIII do up to about top end 486 I think.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

So what type of games could that run?
