Today I was disassembling my mice for thorough cleaning. When opening the Microsoft Serial Mouse V2.1a I did not pay attention on how the springy roller was mounted and so far I was not able to solve this puzzle...
The V2.0 has a completely different design.

Anybody has a picture of the mounted roller?

Doesn't that wire go under the pcb ?

I'm fairly certain I have one of those mice somewhere in my hoard/collection.... somewhere 😒
