Hi
Recently I got a lot of old ewaste. One of them being this ASUS P5LD2-VM board. Visual inspection revealed no issues apart from 3 1000uF 16v caps in the VRM which I've replaced with fresh nichicons (yes I did double check if I soldered them in the correct orientation). Went to power it on and was greeted with CPU stuck in reset. Both NB and CPU are stone cold. Measuring the VRM coils reveals no voltage on them. Used both an C2D 2.93gHz and an Celeron 430.
Since I am very inexperienced in VRM repairs, I turn to this wonderful forum for help with fixing this board.
