I've tried every driver I can find, from PhilsComputerLab, Dell's Website, and of course the official one. No dice. The Creative Diagnostics do see the card, info is below.

Device name: - PCI Multimedia Audio Device
Hardware location: - Ν.Α.
Status: - Device may need re-enumeration.
Device requires installation.
Problem: - Installation failed.
Device capabilities: Unique ID
Hardware ID: -PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0006&SUBSYS_10031102&REV_00

Is there any ID on the card? Something like "SB0680"? Because DEV_0006 means the P16X chip, a dumb Live! without acceleration that likely needs specific drivers.

Probably should have, y'know, checked that first. It's the SB0200, the crappy OEM one. Drivers did work, although it's the WDM one and I'd like to find a VXD since this box is mostly for retro gaming and such. It's in an Athlon XP 1700+ system, so at least the lack of hardware acceleration should be less of an issue.

I guess it just looks exactly like the real Live! cards minus the model number and I just assumed. At least it was extremely cheap (got it as part of a scrap lot).

I had lots of issues with my own Live! until I managed to install the audigy_2_zs_drivers_for_sound_blaster_live.zip from PhilsCOmputerLab.

In my experience some parts of the driver installation process take a veeeery long time and happen in the background, so you think it's done but in reality it isn't.

So be very patient and go through the steps one by one. Give it plenty of time to complete each step, monitor the processes to make sure there is no ongoing background process, and hopefully it will work.

/me love my P200MMX@225 Mhz + Voodoo Banshee + SB Live! + Sound Canvas SC-55ST = unlimited joy !

I tried those first and it didn't work. On the other hand, the SB0200 drivers on a Tripod (?!?) site work fine - followed the info here: SoundBlaster Live! SB0200 issues.
