Read on this web page -> http://www.migman.com/sw/chuck-yeager-air-combat/lgn.php :

They had a copy of Chuck Yeager's Air Combat running in demo mode. I watched the dogfight between the F-86 and the MiG-15 and I was awestruck. It was so much better and more fluid than anything I had seen until then. Then and there, I decided to start saving every dime I earned for a PC, which I got around 2 months later.

Has anyone ever seen or heard of a self-running demo version of the game (if so, any download links)? I've never seen this before.

I'd investigate if there are any hidden command line arguments to make it just run a demo reel.

That's what I was thinking as well, but there doesn't appear to be any. The command summary/quick reference guide lists all of the valid command line parameters for the game, and all of them can also be seen in the game's executable (YEAGER.EXE) after unpacking it.

It would be really nice for showcases to have some selfrunning demos from different games or
scene-stuff to present machines with. For acorn SF3000 and Zarch are really nice.

Two things I remember from back in the day:

At our local CompUSA they had a computer hooked up to a bunch of monitors running Future Crew's "Second Reality" in a loop. I thought at the time, that was the coolest thing I'd ever seen 😀

Another time at another smaller PC store they had the demo of DOOM running it's demo loops on a PC. Hehe, I was thinking how the hell I was going to save up enough money to buy a new PC to run that game 🤣!

Anyhow, GOOD TIMES 😀
