Hi
I’m sure this thread will go unanswered/ignored like some of my others, but I’m a bit stuck with this. 😕 I’ve been trying to reassign my mounted/emulated CD drive as D and I’ve had zero luck. The music from the CD image of Quake isn’t playing any music during gameplay. Not with GL or Win Quake. I’ve tried creating different image types - .bin, .cue, .iso - but none of them work.
Others have suggested I need to make the mounted drive D in order for it to work. I have two HDDs, and those are assigned to C and D. I’ve tried using Letter Assigner, but it doesn’t work; it just sets them back again. Likewise in Alcohol 120%. I tried disabling the D drive in the BIOS, which freed it up, and then I was able to assign the mounted drive to D. But as soon as I re-able the second HDD, it’s reassigned back to D. Is there something else I need to do to get it working correctly? Is it possible for a CD drive to be given a letter above/before a HDD?
Would I need to assign the second HDD to Secondary Slave, maybe? Instead of Primary? Or is there a specific place I need to put the jumper for it to work?
Thanks
