Please don't triple post.
Lords of the Realm has a windows version that you could use.
The DOS version is a 320x200 game (or 320x240 with aspect=true in dosbox)
Neither of those 2 resolutions will fit in the resolution you want without black bars, unless you decide to go for different fullscreen resolution.
As 2560/320 = 8
and 8*200 is 1600 and 8*240 is 1920 (neither of those is 1440)

In case Griffy decides to use the Windows version, consider trying it on Windows 10 or older, since the game utilises the older 9x heap system which fails on Windows 11 with the Win95 compat mode
