Hello,

I’d like to buy this CPU. Do you guys see anything that would raise red flags, or is it an original piece?

Thanks in advance.

I don't see why anyone would take the time to fake a 486SX. The Pentiums were more subjectable to being faked. The one you are thinking of buying is an SL Enhanced CPU, so it looks quite genuine to me.

They did fake SX-25 to SX-33. Because allmost 100% 25MHz CPUs will work ideally at 33MHz.

I am aroused about any X86 motherboard that has full functional ISA slot. I think i have problem. Not really into that original (Turbo) XT,286,386 and CGA/EGA stuff. So just a DOS nut.
PS. If I upload RAR, it is a 16-bit DOS RAR Version 2.50.

Unfortunately, anything that can be faked is either already being faked or soon will be. The faked Pentiums are the reason I'm asking for an opinion on that 486, as one never knows... In the meantime, I asked ChatGPT what it thinks about the topic we’re discussing here, and this is the result...

A fake being produced somewhere in a shed....😀

Thanks very much for your opinions guys.
