How to solve the problem on loading Speedsys?

Initially I thought it was the stability problem when overclocking to 112*3, but I switch back to 266MHz(PR333) stock speed, the problem when loading SPEEDSYS still persist, froze on "Reading MSRs......"

The M II can stable running on 372MHz (124*3).

Is there a work around to get Cyrix MII running on Speedsys?

Thanks.

My first PC (1997)
IBM 6x86mx PR200
BIOSTAR M5ATA
16MB SDRAM

Now upgraded to Cyrix MII 291.5MHz (maybe PR400)

It's a known problem, there should be a switch on speedsys to avoid the check, it has been discussed in the past because some people (me too) faced the same problem.

I tried speed /sp, the problem persist.

I get it to run! Thank you.

CPUID Disabled.

Cyrix M II (6x86mx) is a very strong performer. The CPU score is very low in this speedsys test, because of MMX instruction and many features are not utilized, that's unfair.

SDRAM Timing = Turbo
4 way SDRAM Bank Interleave = Enabled
Linear Burst = Enabled

Now 372MHz MII, Voltage 2.6v
124MHz FSB

Cyrix cpus were very fast on integers but the fpu was very slow, so they were the best choice for office computers but not for a gaming pc. They were also power hungry and hot.

Could you please tell which register(s) you changed in ibmm1.exe to disable cpuid?

Sorry. I disabled the CPUID in BIOS, not software.
