I need help. I bought a Creative SB0110 external panel for my Audigy, but the documentation for it is very scarce, for me it is an obscure piece of hardware. I thought I could connect it because I have the Live internal panel and I was able to connect it using jumpers just by checking the pinout. There are two connectors on the back of the SB0110, one called AUD_EXT which, like the Live, I imagine can be connected directly to the sound card with jumpers, and an SB1394_EXT connector that I don't know what it's for but the "EXT" to me may indicate that it also serves to connect to the sound card, replacing the AUD_EXT. So, can the connection to the panel be made directly using the SB1394 cable? If not, where can I get the pinout for the panel's AUD_EXT connector?

Check this post DIY SB1394 Cable for Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum?

I am looking at the same box myself.. but I don't have any cables to go with it. I do have an Audigy card that has a ribbon cable connector.. but not sure if that is it. Obviously this one is external.

I was not lucky enough to get the internal model, if it does not have the flat cable it is easy to solve by connecting with jumpers, but this external one is electronic waste and although we easily get new ones for sale they are useless because they require many components in addition to the cables. Luckily I managed to sell it.

If I recall correctly, I owned one a long, long time ago, but there was a separate I/O card that plugged into the Audigy in the adjacent slot that provided the other end of the "Audigy Extension" plug for the external box like the one in the picture I've linked.

And you needed the Audigy Extension cable to connect it. A firewire cable wouldn't work.

You forgot to mention that gameport needs another card and another cable and these things are hard to find even in a photo. If the intention was to free up space in the case, this worked the other way around, a sound hardware that uses three slots in the case and several cable slots, something that Live does in a much simpler way. This is one of the most bizarre hardware ever invented.
