Hello!
Couple of quick questions for those who know about these things:
- I have a CT3600 that has the pads for an S/PDIF header, but no pins - do I just need to solder a header on, or are there any additional components required?
- I’ve read that the AWE32 outputs a 5V S/PDIF signal, which is generally tolerated on most devices, but will absolutely damage others. From what I can tell, I can use a voltage divider circuit to drop the voltage down. A quick search seems to suggest that 10K and 20K resistors in the correct configuration will achieve what I need - does this sound right?
Thanks as always for your help peeps!
Cheers,
Rich
