I'm trying to get into the setup on an Intel Premiere PCI LP/LX (Robin LX) board with AMI BIOS 1.00.12.BB0R, Packard Bell OEM https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/intel- … -lp-lx-robin-lx

At post code 60, it tells me "CMOS Time and Date not set" and asks me if I want to enter setup or boot. If I select "boot", it boots.

If I select "setup", it gives me a post code A7 for a second then A3 and then rolls through these post codes in a fast tight loop: 0D-->0D-->03-->D3-->DE-->AE-->AE-->AD

These Packard Bell post codes are unfamiliar to me and my post code booklet.

Caps lock still works but CTRL-ALT-DEL does not.

Should I look at replacing the Dallas RTC ?

First see if you can set the time in dos/windows and if it holds after shut down.
If it doesn't, yep, fix the Rtc.

Necroware has a few vids on fixing them.
99%likely it's dead.

I built:
Convert old ASUS ASC boardviews to KICAD PCB!
