Thought I'd start the 2025 year off with a new find. I just finished filming 3 houses, stacked floor to ceiling with vintage computers. This house has a mix of Apple computers and some proprietary old school printing / typesetting computers. There's also a few I've never seen before. It took me 2 days to film it all and this is just Part 1. Thought you guys might appreciate the video.

There is also a pretty interesting terminal at the 7:10 min mark, that was literally wrapped in plastic.

Happy New Year from Australia !

This is a dangerous post both to my bank account and marriage 😉
I know its early days but hope they sort out a better way of listing what they have then just a Facebook page

I bet this house is in the middle of nowhere in Australia which would make selling these systems hard.

Yes rural Victoria somewhere, so at least it's in one of the smaller states on the more populated eastern side of Australia.
Not saying shipping costs are going to be cheap, but better then in the middle of the outback!

its interesting and simultaneously makes me hope it doesn't all get thrown away while also recognising that i actually have more computer stuff than I'll ever use, and what i have isn't even enough to fill a quarter of one of the rooms in the vid, if that.

The video is scary because it isn't the tidy collection of a collector but the messy disaster of a hoarder. Guy probably reached his tipping point and finally gathered the strength to have someone get rid of it.

A couple of big rooms of vintage tech. I hope to go back there at some point and do an unboxing. Hope you guys enjoy!

and still another 2 not filmed!

It didn't click your the one doing the filming, I'm keeping an eye on the facebook page but please do put an update here once some proper listing gets done.
Don't really have the budget or space for anything big but even some of the software could be interesting!
