I've been searching about this 40pin laptop ide connector but found nothing about it.

Good question. The regular laptop PATA connector is 44p at 2mm pitch, not 40p, with the additional 4 pins being for power.
What system / which drives are these images from?

its a Unisys powerport NB40, also the other end of the ribbon cable that connects to the drive is a 44pin
I was just looking for a replacement cable for it
That's what the full ribbon cable looks like
Can be SCSI? 2,5” scsi hard drive had 40 (or 44, i can’t remenber) connector.
That looks pretty proprietary then. Also, if the right hand connector is a standard 44p 2.0mm pitch connector, the left hand one has smaller pitch as well. Afraid your best hope is finding the service manual of the laptop, getting the Unisys part number from there and see if anyone is offering them for sale.
Don't think it was 2.5" SCSI, IIRC they used 50 pin SCSI DIL 0.1” Connector

It plugged in a regular 44pin drive
Its a standard 40 pin IDC on a proprietary cable.
I would say it was par for the course in old laptops. Its wired straight through too so while it will be almost impossible to find an official replacement any 40 pin cable could do the job if it fits.

Is there any example that might fit?

Do you mean an "off the shelf" item?
I doubt it.
I noticed looking at the photo the tracks on the ribbon on the connector next to the L key looks like it has track damage.
Is that why you need another one?

I would not know where to start looking for a direct replacement for it.
Maybe some of the guys here will know where you can get a spare/replacement.
I would be looking to repair it, either yourself or somebody who can repair it.
