That was my first joystick, they gave it to me with my 386, recently I bought one of them to use in my 486 build. The problem is that the axis is complete wrong, I used some joystick calibration tool and if I move the lever to the left the screen shows I'm moving it down.
I wonder if the joystick is damaged or what.
Any suggestion? The condition is pretty good, no bents, broken plastic and stuff.
I also configured the two small knobs to be in the central position but it didn't help.
Was it a flaky product back in time and I bought something cheap just to go down on the memory road or is it damaged?
