As long time Asus P3B-F user I was curious about contemporary competition. I had back in days i815 and we all know that performance was not impressive compared to BX.
So I acquired Gigabyte GA-6VX7-4X and run some tests.

I have both variants of 933MhZ P3 CPUs and 2 similar GF4 4200ti-s. Fixed it at 100FSB since BX will overclock AGP card at 133FSB. 133A have 4x AGP, but it looks like it does not matter much. Both PC specs at the bottom.
I run default 3dMark 99 and 2001SE benchmarks and 2 Sisoft Sandra memory benchmarks.
Long story short - VIA 133A is very competitive. Only anomaly is BX slow memory write result. It's similarly slower with Everest mem benchmark as well.

Next step - Tualatin testing. Ordered adapter today for 133A board.

PIII Tualatin on s.370 VIA Apollo Pro133A board? I'm wondering what modifications you will use to make this combination work or by "adapter" you mean some kind of ready to be used Tualatin CPU interposer?

Well, the usual Korean one https://biosupdate.runboard.com/t7
Voltage regulator supports Tualatin voltage so with modified BIOS it should work.
