We recently organized a lan-party. One of the machines was with an Asus CUSL2.
It had quite the mondays regarding what keyboard and/or mouse-combo it would accept. Keyboards and mice worked with other computers.
Are there any known failure points for these?
Earlier on I replaced the PS/2 port tower (to a salvaged) which made the problem less apparent, until yesterday.

It has not been recapped (Rubycon/Sanyo) but I will be placing an order for a set of caps to change all the 1500uF and 1000uF caps.

Also tried looking at mouser for a ps/2-port tower under minidin - but didn't find any.
Are these becoming hard to find?

Also, are there any known failure points?

Furthermore, a boardview might be of good help as the top right corner (next to the DIMM-slots) has a crack in the PCB (runs through an extra hole).
No other visible damage, bios-battery is in good health.
