Hey folks,
Just tinkering with my 486 build, and I am wondering if there is a way to use a button cell battery with this mobo. It appears some folks have done it, but I'm not entirely sure what kind of battery (and battery holder) they are using.
It's not a traditional CR2032. It appears to be about the size of a 357/303 (11.5 ish mm In diameter - 1.5v). But I can't find a button cell that size with a nominal voltage of 3v.
Did a bit more digging, and found this vogons post where the picture appears as though it's using a button cell.. (can't make out the model though):
Does anyone have a FIC 486 GIO VP mobo?

I know these boards have come with an RTC, but I don't feel like cutting into the chip and soldering a new coin cell..
Anyway, if anyone knows the model of the battery that can be used, and it's matching battery holder, that would be super helpful. I'm aware it may not even exist and what I'm seeing on that post is something else, but I thought I would ask.
I of course can just keep the external battery pack, but it feels ... 'cleaner' to use a battery that can be just plugged into a holder on the board, instead of hot gluing a battery back to the inside of my case.
