Anyone got an ISO of this?
I found one on archive.org but its in german.
I also found a disc image for a 320CDT, the specs look similar, but not sure if the hardware is the same or not.

Ideally I would install windows 95C on this, are there any driver packs available I can throw onto the windows ISO image at the same time?

i've got a 300CDT with the original floppy/cds which are for the 300CDT/CDS in english, but i havent uploaded them yet, i will do when i get round to making an account on archive also everything is in storage at the moment as the laptop has some problems, ive also got some black marks/watermark on the edge of the screen, also i need a new keyboard as only half the keys work due to burned traces on the flex cable, also the laser unit doesnt move back and forth,

anyway you're better off using win 98SE thats what i was using on mine, i didnt try the original toshiba win95 cd as i dont think its 95c/osr2.5, it looked like it contains a win95 image file in a non standard format which will only boot with an original floppy also i couldnt make use of it with a knackered cd drive, so i installed a retail 95 osr2.5 using another computer them switched the hdd to the 300CDT, problem is when installing the drivers from the driver cd they dont have installers (.exe), so you have to go through device manager and install everything manually and direct the device to the driver files, its a long process and since i couldnt identifiy some of the devices i didnt know which drivers to use so i had a few things which were not installed.

with win98SE all drivers are included so it installs everything and it works great even on a 166mhz cpu, the only thing you really need off the toshiba driver cd is the OPL driver and the panning file for higher resolutions both of which i recently posted, so ill link them in this post, the OPL driver with 98SE is the WDM driver so when that installs cancel it and use the VXD driver here
Re: Advice on retro gaming Windows 98 build

the lcd will only support 800x600, but with the panning.sys file you will have up to 1280x1024 but the desktop will be bigger than the screen so it will scroll, not useful at all unless you are plugging into an external monitor that supports those resolutions, also at higher resolution the colours will be reduced.

for the display driver/panning.sys file check here, read the post for info.
Re: Found a Toshiba Tecra 710CDT on eBay - how to install DOS & Windows (laptop hard drive arrived broken)

at some point i will upload the floppys and cd's, as its all in storage at the moment it probably wont be until i manage to source a new keyboard and cd drive.

Thanks for that, could come in useful.
Perhaps I will go with windows 98, but figured that windows 95 would use less memory, etc. Ive got win98SE running on a 4000CDT that has a pentium 2 processor and it runs sweet.
