I found a 3DLabs Wildcat 4 7110 but I have a hard time finding a compatible mainboard supporting AGP Pro 8x.

I have a Compaq AP550 with Universal AGP Pro 4x but the card doesn't work in there.

Has anyone got a similar card working in any configuration?

A workstation-class card, so look for boards with 1.5V AGP Pro support. Pleny to choose from here...

Thanks. I found two of these on eBay and bought them. Now the waiting game begins...

The Asus P4C800E will do the trick, i also have a 7110 and it runs in my Abit IC7 Max3 just fine.

I bought an Abit IC7 and an Asus A7N266-C on eBay. I couldn't find a reasonable priced Asus P4C800 unfortunately.

The A7n266-C arrives tomorrow, the Abit hasn't shipped yet.

I tested the card today in the A7N266 and it still works! I'm waiting on the Abit to be shipped and will probably make a build with that mainboard.
