Any run of the mill PCI card. An S3 Trio64 is a cheap, popular and highly-compatible card. No 3D acceleration though.

Thanks, i don't need 3d accelleration, i'm expecting to run windows 95 on it
In that case you can't go wrong with the Trio64. Fantastic DOS compatibility, too.

The contacts on that video card look like they could use a thorough cleaning - I would try that before giving up on it. Also, when you say it doesn't work, did the machine just begin beeping with no display when powered on?
After watching many YouTube videos about older computer hardware, YouTube began recommending videos about trains - are they trying to tell me something?
That's no GPU, the GeForce 256 was the first GPU and this predates it by at least four years.
That said, I agree with:

How did you determine that the "GPU" doesn't work?
A VGA card requires input to deliver output. Problems with motherboard or CPU will also result in no display. The only way to be sure the VGA card is to blame is if a different card works in this system and this card doesn't work in a known-good system. Have you done that?
If not, it's a bit premature to start buying video cards. Even if the problem is definitely the video card, what might be the best option depends on what you want to use it for (DOS only, Windows only, both, other OSs...). So quite a bit more information needed.
It's possible the PCI slots need cleaning as well. Isopropyl Alcohol & a toothbrush works great.
it just starts without beeping, and i'n not an expert so thanks
