Hello everyone!
What exactly does it look like when a 40-year-old C64 BBS dinosaur gets going? And what does it sound like? I'll show you all of that in this video at a glance.

And not with a Telnet visit, but just like it used to be, with a user calling into the Snobsoft BBS over the telephone network. It's amazing that this still works nowadays, in this case through a modern Fritzbox 7530 connected to fiber optic cable. However, it took me a very long time to get it to work as you see in the clip. Everything is just like back then™, except for the XXL flat screen - I used that so you can see everything at a glance.
Oh, and if you want to check out the BBS yourself, here’s the address:
Snobsoft BBS: telnet://snobsoft.de:6401
It would be great if you could leave a comment on the BBS. The English translated command list of the BBS is linked below the video.
Workflow for example: MA, AL, E (enter text), E (again in the editor), and don't forget to save the message with S. That's it. And, of course, you can post as a guest.
