Hi! I like the game Boppin' and enjoy its graphics, music and sound effects and sometimes start it up in DOSBox-X just to play its music. At first, the music stuttered when in the background, but I found that decreasing the processor speed helped. I'm wondering if there are any MIDI files or such of Boppin's music online so I don't have to emulate a whole DOS machine just to listen to the music.

Is there a way to download and listen to the Sound Blaster/AdLib versions? I admit that the MIDI version is more realistic but prefer the original versions of the music. I only get download links for the MIDI versions. 🙁

You can record them yourself of course. It's very easy in DosBox-X. Either record to .WAV or .DRO. The latter can be converted to VGM format to keep the size tiny. But .WAV can be converted to .MP3 and played in the car 🙂

You're right, and I did think of that but don't want to hang in there for three to four minutes waiting for the song to finish for each song. BTW, I grabbed a few screenshots from DOSBox-X and want to capture some more. Is anybody here interested in these as wallpaper? I also have some C64, NES, SNES and a few Amiga game screenshots online. If you're interested, just ask.
