Hi, I ha e this 386 Motherboard
Some one ripped off the old battery taking away metal from the (-) hole.
I cleaned and soldered a new battery. I soldered the negative pin with a wire to the GND of the neighboring keyboard (this is ok?).
When I try to boot I hear the normal ram test and then two beeps in a row that I assume is the CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR PRESS F1....
But I have no image. The monitor turns on and detects that the machine is on, it doesn't turn itself off but I have a black screen.
I found that this is probably my motherboard : https://arvutimuuseum.ee/th99/m/I-L/33553.htm
I checked Jp2 and set it to Color position. But it does not change the result.
I tried several VGA boards that work on another machine and I had no result.
Any help?
