after a driver crash and subsequent reboot, the post screen would pause showing a memory error, even after several soft resets. however after power cycling the PSU the error was gone and both memtest86 and memtest86+ passed a run fine, all using the same timings.

is this maybe a known bug in some BIOS versions? it's on an asus P55SP4 board with the newest version installed.
